AIRA is an entrepreneurial development and investment group, pursuing its business endeavours for a sustainable future with a strong economic vision. Our business plans focus on technology, energy, petrochemicals, mining and international trade.
We develop diverse strategies based on the dynamics of global economy, prioritising eco-friendly technology investments, welfare and prosperity of people and mutual trust with our stakeholders.
Based on a sustainable growth model, AIRA Group is in pursuit of global investment opportunities, all chosen on a rational and wider perspective, either directly or in collaboration with pioneering and competitive partners.
Energy is a business of utmost importance, determining the fundamental dynamics of economy, and a driver for AIRA Group’s global strength through versatile investments in key pillars of energy business.
Our core investment and R&D strategies focus on developing new technologies and commercial licencing in compliance with current environmental policies. Our portfolio enterprises, spread in various points of the globe, is a commitment to our vision of leadership.
One of our most innovative investments is Gasification Consultancy Limited (GCL). Based in the UK, GCL develops technologies for energy production from waste. In a full scope of developing energy technologies, patenting and licencing, AIRA Group’s first line of business to secure a patent is for energy production via gasification from biomass and waste materials.
AIRA Group’s patented gasification technology is an advanced, innovative and highly profitable means of converting household, industrial and biomass waste to syngas, for use in heating, cooling and energy production.
GCL Gasification Technology:
GCL gasification technology use various types of waste as a starter or raw material simultaneously, enabling every 1.2 tons of biomass to be converted into 1MW/h electricity or 3MW/h heat
Through GCL’s patented gasification technology, low-value waste turns into valuable commodities such as electricity, syngas, hydrogen, liquid fuel and active carbon, with the lowest cost and carbon emission possible while producing energy. Replacing expensive and mostly imported resources like oil and natural gas with renewable and local ones, this ground breaking technology enhances an effective alternative for industries with high energy costs.
Compliant with environmental legislations and regulations, GCL gasification technology ensures flexibility and cost advantages depending on the nature and prices of materials that can be used as fuel, whether they are solid, liquid or gas. The most significant by-product of the process, active carbon, is itself an economic value, used for soil regeneration and purification systems.
GCL Gasification Technology offers the opportunity to
Use industrial, rural and household waste as a valuable material, replacing non-productive disposal sites.
Reduce total carbon footprint through energy production from waste
Comply with global environmental regulations
Reduces dependency on fossil fuels
Access governmental and international incentives
Produce renewable energy locally and sustainably

All operations that create value of any scale can only be possible by meeting relevant energy demand through sustainable solutions. AIRA Group is innovating and developing cutting-edge technolgies and applications to provide for a better future. We make sure our operations are the right fit for you, so that yours will not miss a beat.
AIRA Group is the patent holder for gasification from biomass and waste, thanks to our energy technology development initiatives. We started licencing waste gasification technology to turn this innovation into a commercial value and as of 2020, AIRA Group is installing and operating its own facilities in addition to licencing.
Syngas Holding, based in Switzerland, is established to lead our project management operations. AIRA Group’s priority market is the UK, with an installed power target of 250 MW within 5 years.
The investment process to install and operate a facility for energy production from biomass and waste is already under way, with plans for commercial projects in Africa to follow.
AIRA Group aims to become a global powerhouse in renewable energy business. Our two main business pillars, project development and investment, are transforming our knowhow and capital assets into added value through our facilities in various parts of the world.
We are managing a 1000 MW solar project development in Australia with a Canadian business partner. Another line of developments are also in the run, with 300 MW in Australia, 500 MW in Hungary, 500 MW in Turkey and 2000 MW in Northern Iraq, while we are conducting preliminary work for Balkan countries.
With a total installed power of 115 MW, 3 wind and 1 solar power facility have been built in Turkey by AIRA Group. In addition to these four operations, we will start building solar power facilities in Hungary and Northern Iraq in the very near future.
As of now, resource diversity is the only solution for the increasing energy demand in the world. AIRA Group aims to be the pioneer of eco-friendly initiatives for the efficient use of fossil fuels, based on its future vision and sustainable energy production objectives.
This perspective is why we have started investments to produce electricity from flare gas, a by-product of oil and gas drilling, mostly wasted by aerial combustion. Our first initiatives to reclaim this highly valuable hydrocarbon feedstock to produce electricity are planned for Northern Africa and Central Asia.
AIRA Group has signed a contract with the Ministry of Electricity in Northern Iraq to build a 150 MW flare gas facility, planned for operation in 2023. Further development projects include a total of 2000 MW natural gas and 600 MW flare gas facilities in Iraq, Northern Iraq, Libya, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
There are many locations around the world, where the demand and need for oil and natural gas is essential for industrial development and global trade. AIRA Group is providing optimal solutions with cutting edge technologies in a diverse geography of such markets. Through investment and development initiatives based on environmental protection standards and fair distribution principles, we focus on an effective, all-round process.
AIRA Group’s sustainable and seamless energy supply chain model is the foundation of our strong investments in key locations of oil resources and trade. Our strategic projects in the Middle East and North Africa cover a plethora of oil and natural gas production, fortified with storage, transport and delivery operations, all significant elements in our future plans.
AIRA Group is finalising the deals on oil production sites, 2 in Libya and 2 in Northern Iraq, all to be operational in 2023.
These initiatives are accompanied by natural gas production sites, one located in Libya and 3 in Northern Iraq. As per oil production, these facilities will be operational in 2023.
AIRA Group’s business strategy for oil and gas pipelines is the effective BOOT (Build-Own-Operate-Transfer) model, with two investments in Libya and Northern Iraq.
The process for a combined 1445 kilometres of pipelines is on the final stages before the building starts in 2023.
Regarding global industrial developments and in line with overall AIRA Group operations, petrochemical business is a part of our endeavours. Our eco-friendly, people-oriented and sustainable investment vision is the guideline for our responsible production initiatives.
Polypropylene (PP), a strategic raw material for the petrochemical industry, is our step forward for this business, where we are starting to build a facility with a 450-thousand-ton capacity in the first quarter of 2023
AIRA Group’s future strategies include mining with a focus on lithium, gold and copper; with field developments run in various countries across Africa.
Our international trade operations are in line with our investments and enterprises, covering crude oil, oil, petrochemical products and precious metals.
